Gabrijela Ivanov is very curious, clever and interested in many things. Within B.a.B.e she works on the media project.

After finishing her studies in Computer Science at the University of Zagreb, she got a job at Software Company. Usually when people get fired, they feel depressed and afraid for their future, but after the first shock of losing her job, she decided that it is going to be the best thing that happened in her life. She took up Women Studies and became involved in the feminist movement.

Gabrijela believes that Internet offers a very needed space to gather and exchange information, and possibly to meet and have a dialogue. Her website (gabe.amabilis.hr) attracts a group of enthusiastic people who want to make changes in the world and have chosen to do so through new technologies.

Education is crucial in changing the world, she believes, and the time for social change is now. It is important for her to let people understand that they should follow their impulses; this is the best guidance in their lives. It makes her sad to see women who lack self-confidence and do nothing about it. She would like to help young women to change this restrictive approach and see life from the different perspective.
